Our May meeting was all about “Zapping the Fear Out of Zippers!” Krista Jarrell shared helpful tips and easy techniques to make working with zippers much less intimidating. Members learned how to attach zipper pulls, understand zipper sizes and what the numbers mean, why it’s important to seal cut zipper ends to prevent fraying, and even a few tricks for sewing zippers without needing a zipper foot. It was a fun and educational presentation that gave everyone a little more confidence tackling zippers in future projects!
