Welcome to the Main Street Quilt and Thread Guild of Round Rock, Texas!
We're a vibrant community of quilters, sewists, and fiber artists who share a passion for the art and craft of quilting. Whether you're an experienced quilter or just beginning your journey with fabric and thread, you'll find friendship, inspiration, and learning opportunities here.
Founded in 1999 in the heart of Round Rock, our guild brings together creative minds from across Central Texas. We meet monthly to showcase our latest projects, explore new techniques, participate in hands-on workshops, and support each other in our quilting adventures. Our members range from traditional quilters preserving time-honored patterns to modern artists pushing the boundaries of textile design.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, giving back to our community is at the heart of everything we do. Our members create comfort quilts for children through Project Linus and the Linus Connection, offering warmth, security, and a tangible reminder that someone cares.
Our commitment to service extends beyond quilting. We proudly support the Williamson County Animal Shelter by transforming even our smallest fabric scraps into cozy pet beds. By repurposing materials that might otherwise be discarded, we reduce waste while providing comfort for animals waiting to find their forever homes.
Through every stitch, every quilt, and every donated pet bed, our guild is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of people and animals throughout our community.
Want to be part of our quilting family? We welcome members of all skill levels!
